Founder/Broker Associate
Jason Mayo (USMC Ret.)
Jason Mayo is a retired U.S. Marine with 21 years of service, including multiple combat deployments. After transitioning from the military, Jason built a career in real estate with a mission to help fellow service members and veterans build generational wealth through homeownership.
Drawing on his own experiences with military moves, VA loans, and the challenges of transitioning to civilian life, Jason founded REALVets (Real Estate Alliance of Veterans) as a way to give back. His vision is to create a nationwide network of veteran and military connected agents who understand the unique needs of service members and their families.
Jason lives in Houston, Texas with his wife and kids. When he’s not working, you’ll find him hiking, training, or mentoring other veterans looking to build a strong future after service.

Nick Meyer (USN Ret.)
From 2001 to 2016, Nick served proudly in the United States Navy as an advanced computer/electronic technician. His career took him from Great Lakes, IL, to Dam Neck, VA, and onto some of the fleet’s most iconic duty stations, including the USS John F. Kennedy (CV-67), USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70), USS Paul Hamilton (DDG-60) and NAS JAX. Over those 15 years, He specialized in aircraft carrier self defense systems and Tomahawk missile systems, while also serving in physical security roles, including a 2-year tour from 2008-2010 in GTMO as a guard/TOC supervisor.
In 2016, an injury ended his military career, and he transitioned to civilian life in Texas. He earned his B.S. in Accounting from Sam Houston State University and worked briefly in the field before realizing his passion lay elsewhere. He found fulfillment coaching youth sports and later in real estate, where a simple lunch beer with his friend Jason sparked an idea that grew into a mission: to build a program veterans' and their families can trust.
Through it all, he has been blessed with a strong foundation at home. Nick has been happily married to his best friend for 21 years, and together they are raising two amazing young men, ages 15 and 10, who inspire him daily to keep building a better future.
